We are so pleased to announce our first mystery add-on, available for purchase in the pledge manager. 

Dust Devil - mystery add-on (NZ$13.50-US$9)

This finely crafted figure has all the essential ingredients to bring terror to its foes.  Whilst principally created for a new Beestwars faction (emanating from the dragon waste) it is equally at home stalking adventurers in a dungeon or sucking blood from victims in a pulp setting. This is a new twist on the archetypal shadowy creature that occupy so many myths, legends and cheese-dreams. 

Character attributes are yet to be decided and we would love feedback on this. Initial thoughts include: ability to hunt in a pack (swarm), stealth, and some form of fear or terror attribute. 

The Dust Devil will be available as a purchased add-on in the Pledge Manager.

We are also keen to engage with the community to build on the lore and narrative around the Beestwars world. Please have some fun with it and drop ideas and suggestions into the comments section. We enjoy gaming but often much of the fun is when players build their own narratives and lore in free-flow.

The Dragon Waste (map found on page 15 of the free rules) is desert, sandy, burnt and blackened. Once a pleasant country ruined by dragons but whose offspring still reside here. None dare venture into these wastes for there are other evil creatures that drink blood and torture your soul.

Thank you all for making this Kickstarter a success. Your support is greatly appreciated.

As an artist the show of support and encouragement often means much more than any financial milestone. So thank you.

I can confirm we are now able to get the moulds made and the Hero set produced. This will add these two powerful characters to the existing range.

So what now?

Progressing towards the 100 backers is very encouraging, however, one element that attracts us to Kickstarter is interaction and engagement with the community.  We see this group as an extremely valuable source of feedback.
